What started out as making mud pies in childhood has evolved into my full time profession as a ceramic artist (as well as an avid garden enthusiast). While my love of the earth has translated into working with ceramics, my past as a dancer is also evident in what I create.
More recently, "raku-fired" work as captured me. I am drawn to the coppery tones and the process always creates surprising results.
I hope to convey a feeling of energy, movement, spirit and joy in the clay and glazes of my dancers, angels, figures, jewelry and masks. It is a blessing to have all these various interests in my life join in the making of my living.
